The 5th Chongqing “Shengqun” Cup Design Competition of MCU, sponsored by Chongqing Education Committee， ended in Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications onJune 3 in 2012. The award ceremony was presided over by Zhang Zonghua, DeputyCommissioner of Higher Education Department of Chongqing Education Committee. Inthe ceremony, Shu Lichun, Deputy Director of Chongqing Education Committee delivereda speech and awarded the prize to winners.

This competition, with more than 400teams, was attended by teams from over 30 universities, including Chongqing University,Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Southwest University andChongqing University of Science and Technology. After the fierce competition ofthe preliminary competition and the rematch, Remote Monitoring & Patrol System of Intelligent Home, designed by LiJie, Zhang Jiukui, Duan Gaofeng and Chang Liangjun from our School ofMechanical Engineering and directed by our teacher Chen Shuaihua, won secondprize in the competition.
