Implementing Cooperation Matters

On April 26, 2023, the school representatives of Thailand Krirk University came to our school for exchange and negotiation. This is the first offline communication and negotiation between the two schools due to the epidemic after the signing of the memorandum of cooperation in 2019.

At 15pm, in the conference room of Tonghui Building of Chongqing Creation Vocational College (CCVC), relevant school leaders welcomed Thai guests to the school for exchange and negotiation, and introduced the school’s educational history, professional structure, practical teaching, construction achievements, especially the achievements of international education in recent years. 

Ms. Jiang Wenxia, Director of the Center for Chinese Affairs of Krirk University, spoke highly of our school-running characteristics, philosophy and development plan. Leaders of the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on cooperation issues such as teacher and student visits and curriculum co-construction, and reached consensus. Next, relevant departments of the two universities will establish a regular communication mechanism, refine cooperation plans, and promote the implementation of cooperation projects.

This negotiation is an important manifestation of promoting the building of a more stable, prosperous and sustainable community of shared future between China and Thailand.

School Profile

Krirk University, founded in 1952 by Dr. Krirk Mangalabruks, a well-known educator at home and abroad, is an institution based in Thailand and radiating to China and ASEAN. It has the right to grant undergraduate and master degrees, and is oriented by scientific research work. It is a comprehensive institution of higher learning characterized by the cultivation of application-oriented senior talents.

Krirk University is the research base of the headquarters of one hundred Chinese schools in Thailand, the preferred university for Thai students to learn Chinese, the Chinese level HSK test center authorized by the Chinese education authority, and the cooperation with the Chinese alliance platform of the Chinese education authority has opened the first online Chinese class in Thailand. Since its establishment, Krirk University has cultivated a large number of outstanding graduates for the ASEAN region, and many ministerial leaders of the current Thai Cabinet have graduated from Glor University.

In 2021, Krirk University was shortlisted for The Times Higher Education Asia Awards.
