Strengthen Cultural Exchanges and Cooperation to Nurture China-Cambodia Friendship Opening Ceremony Held for Training of Intelligent E-Commerce in the Era of Big Data for Intermediate and Senior Managerial Talents from Cambodia

Internationalcooperation continues to yield more fruits, while Belt and Road Initiative willconvey joyous news to us. In order to strengthen exchanges and cooperation withcountries along the way of the Belt and Road Initiative, on May 30, co-sponsoredby the Asia-Pacific Economic and Social Cooperation Committee of the Royal Kingdomof Cambodia, the opening ceremony of the Training of Intelligent E-Commerce inthe Era of Big Data for Intermediate and Senior Managerial Talents fromCambodia was held at our college at lecture hall on 10th floor in the library.

H.            E. Dr Ly Thuch, Senior Minister of kingdomof Cambodia and Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Economic and Social Cooperation Committeeof the Kingdom of Cambodia, Hen Sukun, Deputy Minister of Industry and HandicraftIndustry of Cambodia, Kong Enba, Secretary-General the Asia-Pacific Economicand Social Cooperation Committee of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Su Chi and ZhouZhian from  Victim Assist Organization ofMine Center of Cambodia, Han Yunfeng, Associate Director from Lanmei Airlines,Xu Li, Chongqing Municipal Party Committee member and Director’s Assistant of Educationand Working Committee, Ren Boping, Deputy Head of Yongchuan District, Chairmanof Board He Ji and Executive Director He Xian from our college, leaders fromChongqing Boe Smart Electronics Systems Co Ltd, Chongqing Haifu MedicalTechnology Co Ltd, and trainees from Cambodia attended the ceremony, which waswas presided by President Dai Wei from our college.

RenBoping, Deputy Head of Yongchuan District, delivered his welcome speech andintroduced the basic condition of Yongchuan, while expressing hope for furtherenhancement of the social service and international communication andcooperation capability of our college, hence making more contribution for Yongchuanto be more open to the outside world. “Asia-Pacific Economic and Social CooperationCommittee of Royal Kingdom of Cambodia and trainees could take this opportunityto know more about Yongchuan, to deepen the economic and cultural exchanges andcooperation, and nurture friendship between China and Cambodia for fruitfulachievements,” he said.

Xu Li,Chongqing Municipal Party Committee member and Director’s Assistant ofEducation and Working Committee also delivered a speech. “Countries along theway of the Belt and Road Initiative are closely linked and embrace a longhistory of educational exchanges. This training course will build a bridge offriendship between Chongqing and Cambodia. Chongqing is also willing to shareeducational experience with all parts of Cambodia, achieving deeper and broadercooperation in scientific research and personnel training, jointly promotingactive educational cooperation with equality, inclusiveness, mutual benefit, facilitatingmutual learning in regional education and jointly creating a better future foreducation,” he said. He Ji, Chairman of Board said, “ Our college endeavors toimproving the quality of talent training, serving economic and socialdevelopment, and expanding international exchanges and cooperation. Thetraining is not only an important measure to implement the Belt and Roadstrategy, but also a vital measure to promote cultural exchanges andcooperation between China and Cambodia. Our college will work hard to create agood atmosphere, so that students can learn from the 20-day training and lead ahappy college life.” H E. Dr Ly Thu pointed out that China-Cambodia friendship couldgo back to ancient times and both countries have supported each other on anumber of international and domestic issues and have made steady progress invarious cooperation. He said that the training would play a positive role inpromoting the development of industry 4.0 in Cambodia. He hoped that China andCambodia could take this as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation inculture, education, social and economic fields. Subsequently, Seng Bunthoeun,representative of trainees, made a statement.

In the ceremony,Asia-Pacific Economic and Social Cooperation Committee of Royal Kindom of Cambodiaand Chongqing Yotoo Technology Co Ltd, Chongqing Haifu Medical Technology Co Ltd,Beijing GTI IOT Technology Co Ltd, Chongqing Boe Smart Electronics Systems CoLtd, signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with our college. These companieswill cooperate on the Internet, big data and artificial intelligence with us.

Ren Boping,Deputy Head of Yongchuan District, announced the official start of the trainingcourse. Chargers from Yongchuan District, faculty from our college and over 200teachers and students  attended theopening  ceremony.
